Hoefer Wysocki has an opening for an Architectural Technician with 2+ years of experience in our Dallas office. This is a great opportunity for an Architecture graduate who is working to obtain their license and looking for mentorship while working for an energetic and passionate team!

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and effectively participate, design and deliver successful building projects according to office standards and processes.
  • Involvement within project teams from schematic design through construction on projects, reviewing shop drawings and related submittals, coordinating consultants in all phases and directing the production of the projects.
  • Conduct architectural studies, develop design concepts and design criteria, and prepare reports, calculations, and detailed design and construction documents.
  • Assist in conducting preliminary field surveys, develop designs and drafts preliminary plans project.
  • Assist in developing statements of probable cost.
  • Pick up red-lines. Revise comments from other Peer Teams.
  • Draft Floor Plans designed by Design Team.

Qualifications

 

Education/Experience: Master's Degree in Architecture or equivalent in education or experience. 2+ years of experience in an architectural practice on various projects is required. Healthcare experience is a plus.

 

Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: IDP underway or completed and ARE testing in process. AIA or registered architect designation desired, but not required. LEED Green Associate Accreditation preferred.

 

Qualifications/Skills: Candidate must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Newforma and Deltek Vision knowledge a plus. Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, and meet deadlines. Quality and customer service focus a must.
