Overview

Hoefer Wysocki is seeking a qualified Senior Medical Equipment Planner/Project Deliverable Manager. Candidate must have minimum 10-15 years of experience as a Medical Equipment Planner for new or renovated healthcare construction projects, in-depth knowledge of medical equipment technologies and coordinating with architectural design teams.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of medical equipment cost estimating, planning, procurement validation, milestone scheduling, pre-construction equipment coordination, and equipment installation coordination;
  • Managing internal HWA equipment planning team resources;
  • Developing schedules and ensuring deliverables are met and manage project deliverables to ensure accurate and timely release of project deliverables, including but not inclusive to ASE (Architectural Significant Equipment), procurement validation and milestone scheduling deliverables;
  • Interacting and leading medical equipment planning and procurement engagements with clients;
  • Working alongside internal and external architectural and engineering project teams;
  • Managing internal HWA project planning and financials.

Qualifications

 

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or 10-15 years of experience as a Medical Equipment Planner is required. Must have full working knowledge of Attainia, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint); REVIT experience; Deltek Vision experience; PMP certification a plus.

Requirements for this position include detail driven habits, ability to maintain focus in a fast paced environment. Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere and be deadline oriented.

  • Strong ability to lead/direct, work with and develop staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to initiative and demonstrate resourcefulness;
  • Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills professionally with both internal and external clients, consultants, and vendors to the organization; good spelling & grammar skills, multi-task orientated;
  • Ability to read and translate architectural drawings into Medical Equipment Placement drawings;
  • Knowledge in, and ability to, independently build medical equipment database in Attainia based on Medical Equipment Planning experience from architectural Space Planning narrative or Schematic Design drawings;
  • Ability to present ideas to clients, which include clinicians, hospital administration and executives and medical equipment vendors;
  • Handle confidential and proprietary information;
  • Ability to identify challenges and demonstrate independent judgment in decision making;
  • Ability to travel as needed.
